Elbrus
The Pastukhova Rocks at 4690m are the highest rocky outcrops of a lava ridge running down to the Garabashi Huts at 3850m. This is a common destination for an acclimatisation day and is also where most people first see first light in the eastern sky on their way up Elbrus. Photo: Mark Smyth 2001.
